Job Overview
Penguin Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Enterprise Account Executive to accelerate our growth in the Federal Sector. This role will be instrumental in expanding our footprint by building strategic relationships, winning new business, and deepening engagements with existing clients within federal government agencies as well as system integrators. You will design and execute sales strategies that position Penguin as a trusted partner in enterprise AI, delivering innovative solutions that address the most pressing challenges in mission-critical government initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drive net-new business by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities with federal agencies and partners.
- Leverage industry expertise and federal market intelligence to align Penguin’s solutions with evolving customer needs and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong executive-level relationships with C-Suite stakeholders and decision-makers across the vertical.
- Lead consultative sales engagements to demonstrate the value of Penguin’s enterprise AI offerings and ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, and delivery teams to design tailored solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Represent Penguin at industry events, conferences, and forums to build visibility, credibility, and pipeline opportunities.
- Ensure seamless post-sales engagement, fostering long-term partnerships and expanding account growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with key ecosystem partners to enhance solution offerings and market reach.
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and company policies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or account leadership roles.
- Top Secret Security clearance (or ability to obtain one). TS/SCI is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in selling complex, enterprise-level solutions (AI, data platforms, or advanced technologies preferred) in federal market.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex solutions into clear business value.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, including GSA schedules, IDIQ contracts, and other government acquisition vehicles.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with federal agencies and integrators.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence, lead, and collaborate within a matrixed organization and across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and productivity tools (MS Office Suite).
- Highly organized, with strong time management and strategic planning capabilities.
Location
This is a remote position located in the United States.
Travel
This role will have an estimated 25-35% travel domestically.
Compensation & Benefits
The base pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in the United States is $165,000 - $180,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. The position is bonus-eligible, and there are medical, dental, and vision benefits available. There is a 401k saving plan and other benefits, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
