Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Executive is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet customer requirements while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role works closely with suppliers, production, planning, logistics, and cross-functional teams to support efficient supply chain operations and ensure uninterrupted business activities.

The Supply Chain Executive manages purchase order placement, monitors material availability and inventory performance, coordinates supplier deliveries, and resolves supply-related issues to support operational and customer commitments. The role also drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing processes, increase productivity, improve efficiency, and optimize overall supply chain performance.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and manage rescheduling activities based on MRP demand changes.
  • Ensure products are purchased from the Approved Vendor List, unless an approved deviation is required.
  • Monitor inventory levels by reviewing shortages and excess inventory.
  • Review aging and slow-moving inventory.
  • Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, competitive pricing, and product quality.
  • Escalate critical shortages, supply constraints, or quality issues to the superior.
  • Work with existing new suppliers to source new or alternative products and maintain market competitiveness.
  • Understand assigned commodity suppliers, their capabilities, market trends, and related technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes, supplier delivery, quality, and cost.
  • Support department goals related to inventory targets, cost, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Always Ensure compliance with the Purchasing Policy.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Purchasing Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of working experience, preferrably in a manufacturing environment 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Analytical Skill
  • High integrity and self-motivation
  • Microsoft Excel competent.
  • Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage.
