Responsibilities
- Lead a team of freight bill analysts and ensure all accounts are handled efficiently and accurately
- Develop and maintain auditing procedures for all assigned accounts
- Review freight bills for accuracy and completeness and resolve any discrepancies
- Review and approval of all freight invoices
- Ensure aging reports are reviewed and addressed regularly
- Ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner
- Ensure all cross charges are applied correctly, and other site cross charges are approved
- Provide pending invoice status reports (Weekly)
- Provide monthly spending analysis report
- Verify Tariff imposed
- Liaise and communicate with the logistics service providers to ensure inbound shipments are delivered as per scheduled.
- Keep track of urgent shipments in transit, and constantly follow up for delivery status of inbound/ outbound shipments
- Ensure all billing invoices from logistics service providers are verified for accuracy in the rates and account numbers used.
- Provide Accrual in every quarter end to Finance AP.
- Ensure aging reports are reviewed and addressed regularly.
- Ensure all cross charges are applied correctly, and other site cross charges are approved.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of SAP
- Must be a team player with written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of various carrier pricing, tariff and contract rate, others.
- Good analytical skills
- Min. 2 years’ experience with freight billings/invoices
- Exposure to incoterm 2020.
- Must have good computer skills; excel, word, power point, etc.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Occasionally attend conference calls, Zoom meetings, etc. (early morning or late evening)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs
- Flexible in adapting to additional tasks given within the scope of logistics.
