Job Overview
We are seeking a highly-skilled DRAM and NAND Test Engineer with expertise in high-performance, high-capacity DRAM modules and SSDs to join our team. This role involves working closely with Manufacturing, R&D, and Test Engineering teams to develop, enhance, and validate production test specifications and methods.
As a key technical expert, you will help analyze production test issues and optimize stress test methodologies to improve yields, product performance, and quality.
Responsibilities
• Create and maintain test scripts for the different test platforms being used in Manufacturing.
• Develop and validate new test methods and platforms to ensure products are optimally tested in a reliable and cost-effective manner.
• Collaborate with suppliers on validation/qualification plans for tester migrations.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering and Manufacturing on improving current test methods such as automating repetitive tasks and streamlining/optimizing the overall process.
• Work with tester or other equipment suppliers to develop or enhance test platforms.
• Analyze test data to enable data driven test and process improvement proposals.
• Research and acquire expertise on emerging industry interface protocols such as CXL
• Provide operator training and work instructions to Manufacturing as required.
• Provide onsite support to local Quality and Manufacturing Engineering personnel as required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Expertise with Python programming
• Good working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• AI & Automation Fluency: Strong proficiency in applying modern generative AI tools and Agentic frameworks to real-world business problems.
• Familiarity with DRAM and NAND products such as DIMMs and SSD (SATA and NVMe) a plus
• Familiarity with SQL, C, C++, and C# a plus
• Familiarity with GitHub and/or GitLab a plus
• Experience with high-frequency test equipment such as oscilloscopes.
• Proficiency in data analysis and scripting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional team interaction.

This opportunity is in Newark, California.
Travel
Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites and industry events as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
The base pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in California is $99,000 - $134,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. The position is bonus-eligible, and there are medical, dental, and vision benefits available. There is a 401k saving plan and other benefits, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
