Overview

Penguin Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team. This hybrid role requires the successful candidate to be onsite, supporting our Fremont and Newark manufacturing sites. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders at all levels to develop and execute talent solutions that align with business objectives and promote a culture of high performance and engagement. As a trusted advisor, you will build collaborative relationships throughout the organization and serve as a go-to resource for both employees and leadership. Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential, along with the ability to effectively support a diverse range of leaders and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a coach and trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Partner with managers to drive employee engagement, retention, and recognition, ensuring development plans align with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Address employee concerns, interpersonal conflicts, and performance-related coaching to foster a productive, inclusive work environment.
  • In partnership with the Centers of Excellence, facilitate the successful rollout of key HR programs (e.g., performance reviews, talent development, succession planning, compensation planning)
  • Foster a collaborative working environment by establishing cross-functional relationships across the organization (ie.  the broader HR/TA team, Finance, Legal, IT, etc).  
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to recommend solutions, programs, and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent education and experience
  • 6-8  years of experience working in the human resources field.
  • Track record of establishing strong partnerships and influencing individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Experience supporting various business functions including manufacturing, engineering, marketing, and sales.
