Job Overview

We are seeking a Vice President, Product Management to lead the strategy, execution, and growth of our Advanced Computing portfolio, spanning both hardware and software offerings. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role will be responsible for defining portfolio vision, driving alignment across the AI Factory Platform, and ensuring the delivery of integrated, market-leading solutions that meet evolving customer demands.

As a key member of the product leadership team, the VP will partner closely with Engineering, Sales, and executive stakeholders to translate market opportunities into differentiated offerings, strengthen hardware–software integration, and accelerate adoption across global customers and partners. This position plays a critical role in shaping Penguin’s long-term product strategy and driving business impact across the full-stack AI platform.

 

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the multi-year strategy and vision for Penguin’s Advanced Computing portfolio, spanning hardware, software, and integrated solutions
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and continuous optimization
  • Drive portfolio prioritization aligned to customer needs, market trends, and business impact
  • Lead roadmap execution across AI, HPC, cloud, and infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless hardware-software integration
  • Align product strategy with engineering to deliver scalable, high-performance, end-to-end solutions
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure portfolio performance, adoption, and business outcomes
  • Engage directly with customers, partners, and industry leaders to validate strategy and identify emerging opportunities
  • Translate customer and market insights into differentiated, full-stack product and solution capabilities
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market strategy, positioning, and pricing across the portfolio
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing global team of Product Managers
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity

 

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in product management in the high-tech industry, with leadership at the Director or VP level
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of defining and delivering complex, full-stack infrastructure solutions across hardware, software, and integrated platforms
  • Experience leading product organizations in AI, HPC, cloud, or advanced computing environment
  • Strong background in AI/ML Infrastructure, HPC environments, and/or Kubernetes-based technologies
  • Experience with integrated hardware-software solutions or infrastructure platforms is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale global product management teams and influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven success partnering cross-functionally across Engineering, Sales, and executive leadership to deliver business outcomes
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and product strategy to executive audiences

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in California is $250,000 - $295,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. The position is bonus-eligible, and there are medical, dental, and vision benefits available. There is a 401k saving plan and other benefits, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
