Enterprise Risk & SOX Optimization Manager

Overview

This position will report to the Director of Risk Management and will be responsible for the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program and other risk department priorities.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Own overall ERM program implementation, administration, communication protocols and improvements over time.
  • Support SOX (Business & IT) process optimization, working in conjunction with Global SOX Program Manager.
  • Support system of record (Workiva) functionality and efficiency improvements.
  • Coordinate control walk-throughs with functional business partners and external auditors.
  • Prepare and/or review SOX testing work papers in accordance with quality standards.
  • Proactively follow-up, track and close out open ERM action plans.
  • Train risk management personnel, executives and line management in ERM best practices and methodologies as they are rolled out or revised.
  • Build effective working relationships and trust with our business partners across the organization, while maintaining professional objectivity.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks while executing within allocated budgeted time and meeting deadlines.
  • May assist in the execution of operational internal audits or other priority Risk Management and Finance projects.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in the areas of: enterprise risk, SOX compliance, accounting, finance systems, internal controls, operational audit or similar areas.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of business and IT risks and the related controls.
  • High standard of ethics, discipline and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • IT skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • CIA/CPA qualification
  • Familiarity with SAP

 

Location

This is a remote role in the United States. Candidates based in the Pacific or Mountain Time zones are strongly preferred.

 

Travel

Domestic and international travel are expected to be <5% but are required as needed.

 

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in the United States is $120,000 - $140,000; the pay ultimately offered within the expected range may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. The position is bonus-eligible, and there are medical, dental, and vision benefits available. There is a 401k saving plan and other benefits, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
