Overview

As the FP&A Manager, you will be a key player in our financial organization, providing the insights and analysis that drive our strategic decisions. This isn't just about crunching numbers; you will be a crucial business partner, responsible for the financial stewardship of our R&D and SG&A departments. You will lead our annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, and your work will be highly visible to senior leadership. Responsibilities

  • Support the company’s financial planning by leading the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Partner with R&D and SG&A stakeholders to track expenses, analyze variances, and provide financial insights.
  • Lead the comprehensive headcount and capital expenditure planning processes, ensuring alignment with business strategy and financial targets to optimize resource allocation.
  • Prepare and maintain a comprehensive financial reporting package to senior leadership, providing clear, actionable insights into business performance, trends, and variances.
  • Build and update financial models to support long-term strategic planning and critical business decisions.
  • Assist in the month-end close process by managing occasional accrual and allocation journal entries with precision and timeliness.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation efforts to boost the efficiency and accuracy of our finance function.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and operate effectively within multiple financial systems and reporting environments.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and/or SAP BPC.
  • An MBA or CPA is a strong plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in North Carolina is $89,000 - $111,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. The position is bonus-eligible, and there are medical, dental, and vision benefits available. There is a 401k saving plan and other benefits, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
